Click here to see the latest video of work. It’s the first time I’ve been able to use my (native) British accent on film. And the rest of 2017 is off to a great start! Look closely and you’ll see me as one of three fathers of a very famous identity in a commercial during a very large sporting event that airs in early February. And that’s about all the NDA will allow me to say.

The picture is from THE PLANETS at Walt Disney Concert Hall. It is an absolute thrill to be acting on stage with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. No one, and I mean no one, gives better underscoring.

Lastly, in early Spring, I will be directing the AEA Theater for Young Audiences production of Stiles and Drewe’s Goldilocks and the Three Bears at the MainStreet Theatre Company in Rancho Cucamonga. MainStreet has been professionally producing high quality theater for children for 11 years, and I am pleased as, well, honey, to be stepping up to the role of Director.

My favorite film of 2016 (to work on, that is)

Written by TheFaulkner on December 12, 2016 – 11:00 am -

From “Trying to F**k,” a comedy musical short that was knocked out in an incredibly quick shoot (not that you’d know by watching it). These are just two scenes, and I was glad I got the chance to show a British accent (I’m native born) for the first time on screen, having used them for years in the theater. Hope this brings a smile to your face as we say goodbye to a year that, for me, held a lot more disappointments than I care to admit. 2017 is already looking up though, as I’ll return to Walt Disney Concert Hall in January to act alongside the LA Philharmonic in “The Planets,” and then in Spring will undertake my biggest directing job to date, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.” Have you heard of it? This one’s a musical, and adds a modern, environmental timber-related twist to the classic tale.

East Los High scene – video!

Written by TheFaulkner on January 15, 2016 – 11:39 pm -

Here is video of my appearance on the Daytime-Emmy-Nominated “East Los High,” with Emmy-Nominated actress Vanessa Vasquez. This was an all-around great experience, and I so appreciated working with Director Carlos Reza. There were lots of laughs on set that day.

Comedy Reel 2010

Written by TheFaulkner on February 17, 2010 – 12:49 pm -

This new comedic reel has the latest, greatest footage, including some from “Agent X” and “Special Delivery.” I’ve also put up a complete scene from Agent X (different from the snippet in the reel). The “Ocean Shark” footage that opens the reel was  mostly improvised. The footage that looks like it is from American Idol is actually a spoof-sketch I shot for the Jay Leno show. Enjoy!

Dramatic Reel (2-minutes)

Written by TheFaulkner on February 17, 2010 – 12:46 pm -

Here’s the latest edit of my theatrical dramatic reel, with footage from television’s “Strong Medicine” and the films “Pledge of Innocence” and “Hollywood Sign.” Yeah, I was a baby in “Hollywood Sign.” I’m really proud of my work in “Pledge of Innocence.” My sister is mentally disabled, so the chance to bring that kind of character to life in a feature film was a real gift. After performing slapstick nouvelle-vaudeville with the Reduced Shakespeare Company all over the world the last 9 years, I am longing to stretch some dramatic muscles again.

“Agent X” Clip

Here’s a full scene from “Agent X; The First Mission.” This film was an absolute joy to work on. It’s currently making the festival rounds.

Ocean Shark Gag Reel

Written by TheFaulkner on September 5, 2009 – 2:52 pm -

This gag reel of out-takes from the “Ocean Shark” shoot comes to us courtesy of Director Chris Whetstone. It highlights the improvisational skills of the actors involved as Mr. Whetstone encouraged them to play with the ending of each scene. If you like, you can watch the entire film of “Ocean Shark.”
