Michael Faulkner
Michael Faulkner does a lot. He has toured the globe (for 8 years) with the world-renowned Reduced Shakespeare Company and contributed additional material to their fifth show, “All The Great Books (abridged).” He writes and releases quirky pop music that is sing-along-able. He has acted and directed classic theater for family audiences with Parson’s Nose Productions in South Pasadena, CA. He co-produced, co-wrote and played “Attacus Dove” in the podcast-award nominated “Hawke and Dove Political Punditry Program” podcast, which ran from 2006-2008. He is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory Los Angeles improvisational training program, and holds a BA in theater arts with an emphasis on acting from the University of California, Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!). He spent 8 seasons in roles large and small at Shakespeare Santa Cruz, and has played some of the top regional theaters in the country, including the Kennedy Center, the Cincinnati Playhouse, the Pittsburgh Public Theater, ACT (Seattle), San Diego Repertory, San Jose Repertory, Merrimack Repertory, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, South Coast Repertory (where he also taught Acting Shakespeare for four years as a faculty member of the Young Conservatory), and many others.
